Lorsque cette liaison ne se fait plus, la pulsion de mort prend le dessus et occupe tous les terrains d\u00e9sert\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00c9ros. La <em>m\u00e9lancolie<\/em>, que Freud d\u00e9signe comme \u00ab&nbsp;<i>pure culture des pulsions de mort<\/i>&nbsp;\u00bb, est caract\u00e9ristique de cette d\u00e9sintrication des pulsions. La pulsion de mort, qui n\u2019est plus entrav\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00c9ros, acquiert alors une puissance destructrice insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9e. Il se joue, en permanence, un combat de titans, d\u00fb \u00e0 l\u2019antagonisme f\u00e9roce entre pulsions.&nbsp;D\u2019o\u00f9 la violence destructrice de certaines <em>crises<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les <em>\u00e9checs \u00e0 r\u00e9p\u00e9tition<\/em>, les amours d\u00e9l\u00e9t\u00e8res, l\u2019habitude de la <em>souffrance<\/em> s\u2019inscrivent aussi dans cette culture de la pulsion de mort. On devient celui ou celle qui ne r\u00e9ussit pas, celui ou celle qui ne trouve pas le bon partenaire amoureux, celui ou celle qui ne cesse de se plaindre. Et que dire de ceux qui vivent dans l\u2019<em>angoisse<\/em>&nbsp;? Dont les choix, conditionn\u00e9s par la peur, g\u00e9n\u00e8rent <em>frustrations<\/em>, <em>insatisfaction<\/em> car en contradiction avec la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de leur <em>d\u00e9sir<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pulsions de vie et pulsions de mort cohabitent en un m\u00e9lange explosif&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;<i>Tout affaiblissement de l\u2019\u00c9ros&nbsp;fait, du m\u00e9lange vital, un bouillon de culture l\u00e9tal<\/i>&nbsp;\u00bb, dira le psychanalyste Andr\u00e9 Green. \u00ab&nbsp;<i>Nul n\u2019\u00e9chappe \u00e0 la d\u00e9pression qui est li\u00e9e \u00e0 la condition humaine<\/i>&nbsp;\u00bb, \u00e9crit-il encore. \u00ab&nbsp;<i>Nous n\u2019en mourrons pas tous, heureusement.
